Jane founded St. Swift Consulting to help SMEs and scale-ups navigate change and growth through their people. After more than 30 years in HR, most as an HR Director, she wanted to bring the insight and experience of larger organisations to ambitious businesses that do not have access to strategic HR support.

Her career spans multiple sectors, including retail, property, banking, government, and telecoms.  She has worked with many respected UK organisations, from major corporates to growing SMEs, helping boards and leadership teams steer through growth, change and investment transitions with clarity and confidence.

From early in her career, Jane recognised that the most successful transformations are people focused. Change is never just about structure, technology or process. When leaders create the conditions for belonging and trust, change becomes progress and performance follows.

That belief sits at the heart of St. Swift Consulting, where strategic HR meets coaching and mentoring. Jane helps businesses and their leaders grow together, building the capability and confidence that make change last.

Today, she works with founders, Managing Directors and their leadership teams as a fractional HR Director, coach and mentor. She embeds herself within the business to shape people strategy, strengthen leadership and turn plans into action.

Jane’s approach is pragmatic and partnership led. It is shaped by real world experience and an understanding of the pace and realities of growing businesses. She brings energy, warmth and a focus on outcomes, helping clients achieve measurable progress and lasting results through their people.

Jane is a Fellow of the CIPD (FCIPD) and, having completed a Postgraduate Programme in Business Coaching, is now working toward certification with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She blends deep HR expertise with coaching insight to help leaders move forward with clarity, confidence and purpose.
